2021 Aprilia SR 125 and Aprilia SR 160 Launched In India

Piaggio India has launched the 2021 Aprilia SR 125 and Aprilia SR 160 in the Indian market. The 2021 Aprilia SR 125 and Aprilia SR 160 get cosmetic upgrades and enhanced features to further enhance their appeal. The 2021 Aprilia SR 160 is available in three trims - Standard, Carbon and Race.Both SR models get a new V-shaped LED headlight with DRLs, split seats, a new X-shaped LED tail-light, a reshaped apron with a redesigned handlebar cover. The SR 160 also gets factory-fitted knuckle guards. The scooters also get an all-digital instrument cluster from the Aprilia SXR 160. However, it misses out on Bluetooth connectivity.In terms of mechanicals, both the SR 125 and SR 160 continue with their existing BS6 powerplants. The SR 125 is powered by a 124.45 cc, three-valve, single-cylinder engine that makes 9.9 hp and 9.7 Nm of torque, while the SR 160's 160cc three-valve, single-cylinder unit makes 11 hp and 11.6 Nm of torque.No mechanical changes have been outlined, so the SR 125 and SR 160 continue with their existing powerplants. The Aprilia SR 125’s 124.45 cc, three-valve single-cylinder engine makes 9.9 hp and 9.7 Nm of torque, while the SR 160’s 160 cc unit produces 11 hp and 11.6 Nm of torque. The SR 160 comes with a single-channel ABS, while the SR 125 has a combi-brake system. Both scooters continue to ride on 14-inch wheels with a disc/drum setup.Commenting on the occasion, Diego Graffi, Chairman and MD, Piaggio India said, “It gives me immense pleasure to announce the launch of the new Aprilia SR 160 range.
